Privacy policy
Last updated October 2026
This policy covers rescueload.com, run by RescueLoad. It says what we collect, why, who sees it and what you can ask us to do with it. Short version: we collect what you type into our forms so a dispatcher can call you back, and the numbers you type into our free tools stay on your device.
What we collect
When you send a form
The dispatch application, the factoring quote request and the contact form ask for some or all of the following:
- Your name, mobile number and email address, and the best time to call.
- Your MC or DOT number, how long your authority has been active, and whether you have your own authority.
- Your equipment, how many trucks you run, whether you hold a CDL (asked only for box trucks and hotshots), your home base and the extras you offer, such as a liftgate or tarps.
- For factoring: your monthly invoice volume, whether you factor now and with whom, and what matters to you in a factoring deal.
- Any note or message you write.
With each form we also record the page you sent it from, the time, whether you used a phone or a computer, and any campaign tags (UTM tags) that were in the link you arrived on.
While you fill in a form, your answers are saved in your browser's session storage so a refresh or the back button doesn't wipe them. That copy stays on your device and clears when you close the tab. Nothing reaches us until you press the send button on the last step.
When you use a free tool
Our calculators, the bill of lading generator and the invoice generator run in your browser. Dock times, dimensions, weights, rates, BOL fields and invoice fields are kept in your browser's local storage so they are there next time, and in the page link if you choose to copy a share link. They are never sent to us. Clearing your browser data deletes them.
When you browse
Our hosting and security providers log technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site running and to block abuse. If you arrive on a link with campaign tags, we store those tags in a first-party cookie called rl_utm for 30 days so that, if you later apply, we know which campaign brought you. We may also use an analytics service to count visits, pages viewed, referring sites and device types. We don't use advertising cookies and we don't sell your data.
Why we use it
- To call, text or email you about the dispatch service or the factoring quote you asked about.
- To check your authority and fit before the call, and to work out which fee tier would apply to you.
- To answer the message you sent through the contact form.
- To stop spam and abuse of our forms.
- To understand which pages and campaigns are useful, in totals rather than by person.
We contact you by phone, text or email only if you tick the consent box on a form. Consent is not a condition of using our service. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or ask us through our contact page.
Who we share it with
- RTS Financial. Only when you send the factoring quote form, we pass your request to RTS Financial so they can contact you with a quote. Their own privacy policy applies to what they do with it. We don't send dispatch applications to them.
- Service providers. Resend delivers our emails, Cloudflare runs our network security and bot checks (Turnstile), our hosting provider runs the servers, and an analytics provider counts visits. They process data for us and may not use it for their own purposes.
- Brokers and shippers. Only after you become a client, and only what a carrier packet needs (your authority, insurance and W-9 details), when we set you up with a broker you have agreed to work with.
- The law. If a court order, subpoena or law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
We don't sell or rent personal information. Mobile numbers and text messaging consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep lead records while we are talking with you and for a reasonable time after, as business records. If you become a client, we keep what our agreement and tax and recordkeeping rules require. You can ask us to delete your lead record at any time, and we will unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your choices and rights
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct it or delete it.
- Withdraw your consent to calls, texts and emails at any time.
- Block or clear cookies and local storage in your browser. The tools still work; they just won't remember your last inputs.
Send any of these requests through our contact page. We may need to confirm it's you before we act. Residents of states with their own privacy laws, such as California, have these rights under those laws, and we honor them the same way.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS, the forms are protected against bots and repeated submissions, and lead data is sent only to the people who need it to call you back. No system is perfectly secure, so we collect only what a dispatcher needs and never ask for bank details, Social Security numbers or passwords through the website.
Children
This site is for trucking businesses. It isn't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. Questions about privacy can reach us through our contact page. Our terms of use cover the rest of how the site works.
