    About RescueLoad

We dispatch trucks, and we keep the receipts that get them paid.

RescueLoad is a dispatch desk for carriers. We find loads for owner-operators and small fleets, negotiate the rate and the accessorial terms, and bring each load to the carrier for a yes or a no. Then we chase the paperwork until the invoice is paid.

Most money lost on a load isn't lost on the highway. It goes missing at the dock: two hours past free time nobody wrote down, a lumper receipt left in the cab, a POD with a damage note that never got photographed. We built the desk around that problem, and it's why we write so much about freight operations.

Terms come from your rate con. This is the math, not a promise that a broker pays.

    Clock start 07:10.

Example. Times and rate are made up; the order is how the desk works every load.

    The desk

Dispatchers work the load boards and our direct broker contacts, make the check calls, send carrier packets and file the detention, layover, TONU and lumper paperwork. Dispatch desk: nights and weekends included, because freight doesn't stop at five on Friday.

Each carrier gets a weekly earnings report: loads run, linehaul, accessorials collected, and anything still open with a broker. If a claim is stuck, the report says so.

We dispatch eleven types of equipment, listed here in plain alphabetical order because none of them gets second billing: box truck (26 ft), car hauler, dry van, dump truck, flatbed, hazmat / tanker, hotshot, oversize, power only, reefer and step deck.

    How we work

    • Terms first. Before you see an offer, we ask the broker for free time, the detention rate, layover, TONU and lumper reimbursement in writing. If a term is missing, the offer says so.
    • Your call on every load. Nothing gets booked until you say yes. The rate con goes from the broker straight to you, and you sign it. Turning a load down costs nothing.
    • Proof kept. In and out times, BOL and seal photos, lumper receipts and every page of the POD are filed with the load, so a claim goes out with its evidence.

    What it costs

    • 7% new authority: MC under 6 months, any equipment
    • 5% standard: 1 truck, MC 6+ months
    • 4% fleet: 2+ trucks, MC 6+ months
    • Charged on linehaul and the accessorial pay we collect (detention, layover, TONU and the like). Never on lumper reimbursements, tolls or scale tickets.
    • New authorities drop a tier in month 7.
    • No setup fee. No minimums. Month-to-month, cancel with 30 days notice. No haul, no pay.
    • You approve every load. The rate con comes straight to you. Saying no costs nothing.

    What we don't do

We aren't a broker. We don't sign rate cons for you, hold freight contracts, or collect your linehaul and pass along what's left. We don't ship freight or give shipping quotes, and we don't publish tariffs or set freight class.

Box trucks start at 26 ft. That size runs the same dock freight, rate cons and accessorial terms as the rest of the trucks on our board, so our desk can work it the same way and give it the same depth.

We dispatch 26 ft box trucks and larger equipment. We don't take box trucks under 26 ft, cargo vans or sprinter vans.

RescueLoad is a private dispatch service for carriers. We are not a shipper, freight carrier, broker, warehouse or tariff publisher, and we are not affiliated with NMFTA or any company named in our guides.

The freight guides cover detention, paperwork, class and claims. The free tools work out dock pay, cost per mile and class estimates. Want to see the service step by step? Here is how dispatch works with us, from the first call to a paid invoice.

Bring us your truck. Keep every say over your loads.

A dispatcher calls you back, learns your lanes and your rate floor, and starts your broker setup. You approve every load from the first one.

You approve every load. No setup fee. No contract.
